grown...up...?

I ran into an old friend the other day, it was quite a surprise.
We got to talk for about 10 minutes though because I was on my way to work.
But any who, I just remember him staring at me and saying, "You've grown up so much, it's insane as to how you are so radiant. You speak your mind and you say how you feel, it's perfect!" He also said that I have now become much more mature than the last time he saw me.

Which introduces to my blog title, "Growing Up"
It really is insane; when you do flashbacks of the drama, the heartbreaks, the rejections, the stress, the losses of friends, certain situations take tolls on people. They often take things that bring them down to their lowest point and slowly build them up, strongly and surely.
This brings me to the reason why I cut my hair so short on Friday.
In Japanese culture, when a woman ends a relationship, she cuts her hair. But with me, it isn't an end to an intimate relationship with someone. No, it is just the end of the old me. I decided that cutting off four inches of my hair would do me some good. Bring the lightness back into my face and make me feel much more alive. And I think it did, I've been feeling so beautiful.
Then today, I got my teeth whitened with that Zoom technology. My teeth are sparkling white, I don't think I could ever go back to Starbucks! *gasp*
With a confident smile and a new diva look [what my stylist said] I think I achieved my ultimate goal for this month. [Next to my 1500 on the SAT]...

I've noticed that my days seem a lot more grayer when Matt is not around, and it reflects back into my own daily life. Nothing screams "lonely" when you are sitting around moping that you couldn't do anything fun.
But with that being said, I think I'm going to read a book now since there really isn't anyone out there anymore to hang out with. A good drive is fun, but living at home isn't much when you want to do these things.

Well, I wanted to show you my haircut and white smile so here it is <3

It's true! You're an old granny now.

jk, but on the serious side, you have definitely grown up and the "new" you is awesome, not that you weren't awesome already

...I've been telling you about that Starbucks forever. You're gonna save a ton of money too!
