Jon and Kate Plus 8.

My favorite show in the entire world! It puts "Newlyweds" to shame. I think that if I let my friends watch it, they'd be hooked! Jon and Kate have the most beautiful and most well behaved children I have ever seen! It makes me super excited once I grow up! If I had six kids I probably would scream and lose my mind. Yet, as I watch this show, The Gosselins make it seem like once everything is on a set schedule, there is so much fun going around.
Every time I watch the show I'm put into such a good mood and I laugh so much! Yet, I'm getting sort of sad cause the kids are growing up and I'm afraid that the show would be over soon and I won't ever get to see how the turn out!
:(

As silly as it may sound it does bring tears to my eyes, Jon and Kate and their whole family mean so much to me! Even though I never met them, watching them be so honest and real makes me wish I could meet them! I wish they could come to Florida to visit! I'd love to babysit the kids! Maybe they'd get along with my younger cousins too! I could show Kate the best spa here in Ft. Lauderdale! lol
But those are all wishes and hopes...

Now, I'm going to watch the show again!
:D

Strawberry fields, forever...

I will make it through this semester.
I will make it through this semester.
I will make it through this semester.
I will make it through this semester.
I will make it through this semester.
I will make it through this semester.
I will make it through this semester.
I will make it through this semester.
I will make it through this semester.
I will make it through this semester.
I will make it through this semester.
I will make it through this semester.
I will make it through this semester.

I know my dreams will come true because I believe that good things are going to happen this year. First step: Know what I want. Second step: Focus on what I want. Third step: Imagine that I get what I want. Fourth step: Believe that you already got what you want. Fifth step: What you want falls into your hands without knowing it.
Sixth step: praise yourself, and praise the faith you had in yourself.

Revelation.

Horoscopes don't usually reflect what happens in my life. Sometimes I feel like I'm reading a bunch of B.S. But I read this a moment ago...
If a guess couldn't be more dead on...
even though it's not doing it's job, for once it actually is right somewhat..

If you have been having certain doubts about the relationship you are currently in, yet have not been able to put your finger on why this should be, then astral placement may just help clear up this matter today. It could be that the person in question reminds you of someone you used to know, and you can't get this association out of your head.

Ironic, someone I knew in the past just popped up back into my life. Not enough to change my mind, but enough to make me notice the difference in my behavior.
I don't know what to do, with him in my life I am thinking about past actions and I just wish that people could be friends with the "Bubbly, giggly yet serious Dom"
With influences from outside forces it just may be futile at this point, unless they learn how to break free.

human expressions.

I have noticed that while I have been using social networking websites for quite sometime that I have a habit of saying how I feel rather than what I am doing in my "status" bar. I'm sure this isn't abnormal, every teenager must do it because it's their way of reaching out and hoping that someone out there can "hear" them. Besides explaining how I feel in a couple of words on my status the pictures I take and post also express my feelings. It should be well known now that Dominique wants to let the whole world know how she is feeling. Whether it is being heartbroken or happy, I want everyone to know how I feel and I want everyone to look at "me"!
Human beings are really interesting when you study their behavior, especially when it comes to being "wanted" or to be noticed. We can scream, jump and shout! But on the internet we cannot hear these feelings being expressed. Now, with the technology of web-cams and digital cameras, the world can understand how you feel within seconds. It's not really "amazing" since the generation I am a part of grew up with this stuff, but it's rather fascinating when you take a step back and realize more than what is actually being said, or more than someone looking at a camera. Stare into their eyes and figure out what they may be feeling or thinking. It could be a good way to get your brain active and to understand more of the human nature of our kind.

You have to play by the rules..

What is fear? Can fear be a fabricated phobia that has expanded and has tainted your brain cells to believe that if encountered with this fear that you must flee from it, other wise you will be certain death.

Yeah...I'll go with that.

I decided to drop my Photography class today and switched it with U.S. History. But before I explain why I must let you know that this was not the reason alone. Yet, by having this event happen to me, I realized that it left a bad taste in my mouth and my photography professor was not the one who could tell me what to do.
The studio we meet in is a small room, my room is bigger than the studio, where there are only about 10 of us sitting around a rectangular table. My professor comes in all disheveled and seems to be uptight and frustrated, she slams the door and turns off the lights. Now, if I may tell you that there are absolutely NO WINDOWS in this room and it was pitch black darkness. I couldn't even see my hands in front of my face, but the instant my brain realized that we were surrounded in nothing but darkness I panicked. I grabbed for my cell phone and pressed the on button just so that a little light could be shown so I could stop my racing heart. "PUT THAT AWAY!" screams my professor and I try to do what she says but my shaking hand can't seem to find a way to make peace with it. She says it again, "I SAID TURN IT OFF!" Immediately out of my fear I say calmly, "I'm sorry, I just afraid of the dark and I can't take it..." but still you could hear the uncertainty in my voice. I still couldn't stop shaking...
"Well, these are the rules of the game and you have to play by them." was the reply. Instantly I knew there was no way I'd get up and walk out of the room in that moment. The next thing I knew Letitia's arms were around me and whispering to me that it was okay. I believed her and I closed my eyes and pretended to "see" light. This fear in me had my heart rate sky rocket and my legs were shaking- I didn't even know that myself! It was about a long excruciating 5 minutes when she turned the light on and I was still in a panicking situation. I tried to compose myself with what best poker face I could put on, but with no success I just cowardly put my head down.

When class was over about 2 hours later, I left with a "bad taste" in my mouth. It wasn't because I was stuck in the dark for no more than 5-10 minutes. It was the fact that the trust I had for a teacher like her broke in half. I care yet I don't care that I had to face my fear, but the way she yelled at me was uncalled for. I felt like I was making a deal with the devil...
When I got to my car I called Matt and I told him how I felt about my situation, I really don't want to be dragged into my fear just to do something I love. But after much consideration I realized that film photography wasn't my forte. I only like digital photography, and I can use film cameras anytime and develop them too! Because Matt's dad knows how to develop film!
So, besides those facts, that class demanded high end materials that were way too expensive that I can't ask my parents to buy for me.
Although I was quite torn when I dropped the class, I felt like it was better for me this way.

I am just not quite ready to face my fears yet...

Going Crazy!

Although Matt has gone back to college I've been setting up camp here 3 1/2 hours away. In desperate need of a 360, I have been dealing with the ps3. Yes, Dom has gone back to video games as a means of escape from hectic daily life. But with my new classes I have doubled my work. Each class requires more from me than anything else. I am fondly excited about my Photography Film class, where we shoot black and white photos with 35mm cameras. I even get to develop my own film! That's going to be exciting! And the next best part is that Letitia and I are together in that class! :]
Life couldn't be more exciting...
really...
But because of these crazy classes I am thinking that I might not be able to be a chaperon on some of the robotic trips. Most of these classes require me to be there every class AND there are scheduled tests already...
It makes me feel scared about this semester. I really really really hope I get into UCF though because being at BC isn't making me the least bit happy. I just want to study in a different environment, do what I want and be with Matt.
Before the stress hits me I am going to bed tonight, EARLY.

A new year.

It's a new year! And we rang it in with cheers, finally my first New Year's kiss & shattered glass that scattered all over Matt's mexican tile floors. What a great way to bring in the new year! Matt, his mom and dad, cousins, aunts, as well as Mike, Cesar and Amal all sat around Matt's humungo flat screen tv in the living room and we watched 'The Dark Knight'. That was a good three hours of my life right there but I enjoyed the movie and I'm sure everyone did too.
To recap 2008, I might get happy or grungy, how ever I see fit.

January- Confusion, chaos, the start of FRC and more chaos.

February- Noelle's birthday "surprise", The first time I went to stay in Orlando for Matt's 19th birthday. Matt and I break up for a good 2/3 months. Started my job at Laser Quest

March- Got a new haircut, new me. Started hanging out with Matt K. and Evan more. Orlando Regional- seeded first. Awesome moment.

April- More chaos, heartbreak and a few more tears. ATL Championships for the first time. Had lots of fun being with Noelle and DJ. At the end of April was the last time I ever hung out with Matt K.

May - Matt and I get back together and I graduate and start a second job at BA.

June- Summer starts with some crazy hours, I make lots of monies. I miss my friends that are still in HS. :(

July- First trip with Matt and his family to Boston. We drive and have a good getting to know each other trip. Had a blast, I want to live in Boston! It's beautiful.
Hung out with the gang and some odd reason Rhapsodii was there too. Made it awkward but still it was awesome to see my friends.

August- Hurricane hit as I started college, Robotics started again, I got to see DJ and Noelle a lot more. Finally.

September- I hate this month. I just hate gray Sept. Saw Matt a lot more and did nothing but work this month. Visited Noelle and DJ at Dillard and brought them their presents from Boston.

October- Celebrated my 19th birthday. And went to Chipotle with Noelle and DJ for Free Burrito day.

November- Thanksgiving with the family and didn't see Matt for 4 weeks that drove me insane.

December- got 2 A's and 2 B's. Got a 3.50 GPA and made Dean's List. First crew outing with the LQ crew. Spent my Christmas with Matt and my family. Got the best gift ever and got my parents the best gift ever (ipods) and celebrated the new year with my boyfriend. Cried cause Mario is leaving for Iraq January 2, 2009.

Hmm..2009 is here, hopefully with some good new cheer and good news. I hope to be in Orlando by the end of this year. Till then, it's time to make some new memories with some new classes and hopefully build up some new friendships. I have a book that I write in every chance I get so next year I'll be able to recap a lot more clearer.
